The skills taught include basic maths. phonics, colour and shape recognition, science, character building (manners, courtesy, forgiveness, preciousness of others, respect of people and property), life skills (making their bed, crossing the street safely ,tying shoe laces, taking care of their belongings), at 4 years old primary school orientation at Western Heights Primary School begins. The primary school is right next door on Clayton Road. The hours of operation are from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. We are also operating most school holidays. Deanna Hunter is our new pre-school manager. Dee has entered into a labour of love setting up a Christian based pre-school. Many long hours of planning and prayer have been sown into our newest venture. We aim to input positively into the precious children attending our centre. The program designed and created by Dee and her staff is called "Headstart Program" and seeks to impart skills and abilities which will give the
children a head start in life.
